It all started one night; I was up very late watching TV, when I saw this infomercial for P90X that totally caught my eye. Now, I am not the type of person that usually gets hooked into buying anything that is from an infomercial, and even though I was very intrigued, I still did not give in and buy it. At the time I had a membership at a local gym and I went everyday, so I thought I really did not need it. Well a time came when I changed jobs, and I had to work at a different time, so I was not able to make it to the gym as much as I liked. So I decided to buy the P90X workout routine and do all my workouts at home. Knowing that I am a pretty confident person, I thought that I could handle the P90X workout routines pretty easily. Little did I know that I was about to find out that I was in for the some of the toughest workouts I have ever been apart of, and that is the main reason I decided to write this review.
If you are wondering if P90X works, it does, and if you are wondering if P90X is for you, it depends. Even though I encourage everyone I talk with to give it a try, I have also realized that P90X can be very difficult for people who are really out of shape, I realized this the first day I began the 90-day challenge. So if you want to start the P90X workout routine, I highly recommend that you try the fitness test before you begin your quest on getting completely ripped. Make sure that you have plenty of water, a towel, and when Tony Horton says, “pace yourself,” he absolutely means it. Seriously, if you do not pace yourself you will get burned out, you will get through the half waypoint of your workout and realize that you just cannot do any more push-ups and pull-ups. It is also very important that you watch to see the technique they use for every workout, if you are not doing it the right way you can cause yourself to be injured. If you are reading this and thinking to yourself, “Man, this guy’s P90X review is making me scared.” My reply would be, not to run away from the P90X challenge, if you are not able to do some of the exercises; they provide alternative ways of accomplishing those exercises. P90X is tough, it is very hard, but that is why it is so good, it pushes you to the limits, and even though you might wake up sore the next day, you still feel refreshed and full of energy. I hope my P90X review has helped you make a decision, and hopefully the decision to take up a challenge. by: UltimateFitnessGear |
