There is a big difference between the P90X PowerStands Push Up Bars and the regular P90X Push Up Stands. The PowerStands push up bars are a lot more sturdy, have a better grip and won't move on the ground. We put both types of bars to the test and found that the regular push up stands might slide on hard surfaces. The PowerStands push up bars have a sturdy base that actually grips any surface, whether you are on carpet or on a hard floor.
The handle of the PowerStands push up bars is also bigger which allows for a better grip. Many people have troubles doing push ups because they hurt their wrists. The great thing about both of these push up stands is that you lessen the pressure on your wrist and lose the pain caused by doing push ups. Doing push ups becomes easier and more enjoyable with these bars. Push up stands are needed for doing the P90X workout to the fullest potential.
