Hip Hop Abs was created by Shaun Thompson, who is better known as Shaun T. He started out dancing at Rowan University, which is located in Glassboro, New Jersey. He received a bachelor’s degree in Sports Science and minored in Theater and Dance.

Shaun has worked with many Hollywood actors, actresses, musicians, designers and many others. In addition to dancing, he incorporated choreography along with that. He was chosen to coordinate events such as the NCAA Final Four halftime show and the Garden State Dance Festival.

Shaun created Hip Hop Abs in February 2007. The workout system was made to work on the abs area. After it debuted on television, it didn’t take long for it to become the #1 fitness program in America.
