If you find that you have a hard time keeping up a normal exercise routine by yourself, or perhaps you just do not like working out by yourself, you should try finding a workout partner. For years I would only workout with my friend Derek. We had a great routine that we did 3 or 4 times a week and I found that it helped keep me accountable to working out. Working out with him was effective and fun. We hardly missed any workouts because one of us was always motivated if the other was not. Only if we were sick did we skip. Plus it was fun, we had someone to hang out with and talk with while we were working out. While some workouts do not give room for conversation, most do. In fact a lot of Olympians say that they train at conversation pace. Even if you do not workout at a gym then you can still have a workout partner help keep you motivated and push you to go further. In a few weeks I am going to be starting the ChaLean Extreme workout. I am going to be going through this workout video with another friend of mine. I am looking forward to it and I will post more about it as I do it. So if you need a little extra motivation or want to have someone help push you to be stronger and better, then try finding a workout partner. To me it is much more fun to workout with someone.
