So you have probably by now heard about the P90x Workout By Tony Horton, if you haven’t that is okay. Just know that the P90x workout kicks butt, and Tony Horton will get you into the best shape of your life. There is always a lot of talk about the P90x workouts, but their usually isn’t a lot of talk about the P90x workout equipment. So in this article, instead of bragging about the workouts, I am going to brag about the P90x workout equipment. Lets get started!
The first main piece of equipment you need to know about are the P90x Powerstand Push up Bars. These are heavy duty push up stands that are comfortable to use and very very sturdy! Tony Horton designed these push stands himself and specifically made them for his P90x workout. These p90x powerstands feature a nonskid circular base, angled handles to eliminate wrist strain, and foam grips to eliminate hand strains. You can use these push up stands in the P90x workout, P90x Plus, and the Power 90 Master Series.
Next up on the list is the P90x Chin-Up Bar. This piece of equipment looks like something “the predator” would workout on, that’s how cool it looks. This chin-up bar was very carefully designed so that you can maximize your chin up workouts. The P90x Chin-Up Bar has 10 pro-grade handles with multiple grip positions. There are so many different type of chin-ups and pull-ups you can do on this thing. Some other features include…Heavy-gauge steel (Maximum weight: 300 lbs.), quick and easy assembly, fits in a doorway up to 32″ wide sturdy doorway (border trim required), and it takes only seconds to safely remove from door way when not in use. This is a must have, even if you are not doing the P90x workout.
For all your cardio workouts and yoga workouts, make sure to get the P90x Plyometrics Mat. This P90x mat was designed by Manduka, and is great for using it when you have hard floors. This P90x mat is designed to add saftey and comfort. Plus, it too is also very heavy duty, so it will take a lot of beating and still last you a very long time. It can be used for the P90x plyometric workouts, as well at all the Yoga and stretching workouts that P90x offers. The P90x Plyometrics mat includes…a non-sticky grip, yet slip resistant even when wet from perspiration, a reversible surface that can be used both ways depending on your workout needs, extra cushion to support the spine, hipbones, knees, and elbows, and large dimensions (26″ x 72″ x 1/4″ thick) to ensure maximum landing contact.
Last but not least, the P90x equipment that you need are the P90x Resistance Bands. These resistance bands are manufactured by B-lines. The P90x resistance bands are great for dumbbell workouts, and are durable and long lasting. You can get them separately or get the kits. There are four different types of kits…The Standard Kit (15-30 lbs.), the Super Kit (20-40 lbs.), the Extreme Kit (40-50 lbs.), and the Complete Kit, which has 10 bands ranging between 5-50 lbs. These P90x resistance bands will help sculpt and tone your muscles.
So now that you know what equipment to get…Get it!
